Welcome to the Neighborhood!

AGNA is a volunteer run organization that was created to support our neighbors. We are here to support and welcome you to our beautiful neighborhood!

We are known for our annual, family-friendly events. In years past and current, we have had a big turn-out for nighttime trick-or-treat on Halloween. There are plants to trade in the spring, an Easter egg hunt at Mitchell Airport Park, and one of the largest neighborhood rummage sales in the state. Visit our Events page to learn more!

We have a vibrant business district, with most businesses located on Howell Ave. Many of the Howell Avenue pubs provide bus-rides to Summerfest or Brewers games. We also have the best coffee shop in Milwaukee, Hawthorne Coffee Roasters, with a delicious rotating weekly sandwich and soup! Lastly, St. Veronica’s Parish offers a Food Pantry on Wednesdays. Explore our Business Directory and see what catches your eye!

Over the years, this organization has received great support from the local businesses, like: Gingerz, Milwaukee Classic Pizza, Hot Dish Pantry, Avenue Liquor, Hawthorne Coffee Roasters, The Packing House, Nite Owl, Off the Clock, Second Hand Purrs, Marsel’s, Jersey’s Pub, Luepke Insurance, and Gators Pub.  If you’d like to support our organization, and promote your business, let us know!

The boundaries of Airport Gardens are: the area bounded on the north by East Howard Avenue beginning at South Howell Avenue eastward to the intersection of South Whitnall Avenue, then proceeding southeast on Whitnall Avenue to the intersection of South Brust Avenue, then south on South Brust Avenue to East Layton Avenue, then westward on East Layton Avenue to the intersection of South Howell Avenue, then north on South Howell Avenue back to East Howard Avenue.
